She considers painting her survival kit and the essence of her living. Captivated by the effects of “golden-hour” light on the natural world early and late in the day, Santa Fe artist Lynn E. Windsor interprets the wonder and mystery she sees and feels in works of astonishing beauty. Her paintings are multi-layered in the technical sense of interleaving opaque and transparent strata of luminous color and inscrutable shadow. Their evocative powers also work on many levels from the purely aesthetic to the deeply emotional.
